How long will it take to receive my video ?

Accepted Answer

I aim to have the film ready within 6- 10 weeks of your wedding date. I do ask that whatever materials you would like me to use in the video (wedding invitation, pictures, music, etc.) be provided to me prior to my beginning editing.

What equipment do you use?

Accepted Answer

I shoot weddings using professional cinematic camera equipment, filming in  4K . I use tripods and monopods or other stabilizers as necessary. During the ceremony I always use more than one camera. I use a compact field sound recorder and a discreet lapel mic, to capture audio during vows, and an external shotgun microphone mounted on the camera.

Can we meet?

Absolutely! We can meet before the wedding if you would like, I am also able to Skype/ facetime or phone if this is more convenient.

Question 4

How is my film sent to me?

Accepted Answer

I deliver all files “in the cloud” on your own personal wedding web page, and the link I will send, the files will be able to be streamed and are downloadable. I set up the film in chapters to make it easier to watch/ share individual parts as well. Feel free to contact me a sample of weddinbg web page, I can also deliver a hard copy of films on a keepsake USB flash drive, compatible with computers and most smart TVs.

What is your artistic style?

I like to call what I do cinematic photojournalism. Your wedding film is made up of all the real events and emotions of the day, so you can relive it whenever you choose. I capture the important elements of your day so you can look back on it and share the special moments with family and friends. The final video is a mix of photojournalism and cinematic storytelling, essentially, a movie of your day.My packages include a full length film as well as a shareable highlight reel.

Do you offer the raw footage?

I can provide  the raw footage (literally every clip from my camera) copied onto on a separate hard drive for an additional $200. BUT…please be rest assured that I will include all the “important” moments!  All of the “good stuff” will be included. :)

Question 7

How long will the video be?

Accepted Answer

The length of the full length video is usually dependent on how long your ceremony and speeches are. I produce both a longer length “feature” video, as well as a short highlight video of the day perfect for sharing on social media. A “feature” wedding video usually runs between 40-75 minutes (40 -60 minutes being the average, but every wedding is different) The musical highlight reel generally will run between 4-10 minutes.

How can we pay?

I take Venmo, Apple Pay, Facebook pay, cash or check as payment. I am happy to accept payment via credit card via PayPal, in that case there is just a 3% fee that is added to the total to accept the electronic payment.

Deposit: I take a 50% retainer up front to reserve your date, and the remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the wedding.
